Mar 1, 2020 Looks like the Google Maps API is broken again so please go to settings (three vertical dots on the top right of teh screen- tap on that and then settings). DISABLE Export labels to maps app and then the program will work until Google fixes their API. Then you can turn the labelling feature back on.

Aug 23, 2015:PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU INSTALL LANDTRACKER TO YOUR DEVICES MAIN MEMORY AND NOT THE SD CARD. IT WILL NOT WORK WHEN INSTALLED ON THE SD CARD.

We put in a fix for the reverse converter again. You now have the ability to use a high accuracey or a low accuracey setting on your device. This feature can be accessed through the settings dialog.

We added Russian language Support for one of our users

We added the ability to turn off labeling. This is for old versions of Google Maps that will not accept the labelling functionality. This feature can also be accessed in the settings menu.

July 29, 2013: We put in a fix for the reverse converter so now it wont pulla GPS coordinate unless the accuracey is less than 50m. This should provide for some very accurate results.

We also put a fix in for the latest Google Maps update. So if you are running less than version 7.0 everything will be the same. If you are running 7.0 or greater than the only thing that changed is that Landtracker will bring you to the center of the LSD in Google Maps but you need to tap the screen and create your own drop pin to get the directions to the well. Unfortunately, this is a result of the new update to Google Maps. They also took out the range and township road labels. We have lobbied Google to put the labelling back in so hopefully that happens!

July 18, 2013: For the reverse converter on Droid and BB:

When you click on get location it passes the immediate location of the GPS module. Even if it has a poor fix. We are going to update the code to wait for an accurate fix. So the workaround is simply use Google maps or any other program that uses the GPS until you see your actual location. Once an accurate GPS fix has been acquired, click on the get location button in Landtracker and you will be good to go.

July 14, 2013: There is a new version of Google Maps that has just been released. If you do the upgrade you may experience issues as it may not be able to "find" the coordinate. To remedy this, simply uninstall and reinstall the Google app and it will work fine.
